Recent pics of me!

Here I am after my first night not being swaddled. Mommy and Daddy have no idea how I ended up in this position with my sleep positioner crumpled near the bottom of my crib. Apparently I had an active night!

Here I am with Auntie M and cousin Mia Z. They came over to visit and play. :) We all decided to hang out in the chair together.

Someday I'll be as big as Mia Z!! :)

Uncle Andy was teaching me about tomato plants. Looks like he said something funny.

More Milestones

Hi everybody!

Rolling Over - I've started to roll over a bit more - - - mostly on my right side, thank you very much.

No More Swaddle - Tonight is night 3 of no swaddling for me. I'm working on self-soothing, which is working OK, but for some reason Daddy looks really tired in the mornings. It could be that I am screaming at him when he comes in to check on me in the middle of the night.

Baby Proofing - Mommy and Daddy were all over the house this weekend boxing stuff up. I didn't realize just how much crap they had - - - now it is more and more about me, which is exactly how it should be.

Oh, and I'm still very happy, smiley, and when Mommy and Daddy make "raspberries" on my tummy, I like to giggle and laugh!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! Here I am with Grammy - she's my Mommy's Mommy. Yay! I decided to be a pretty good boy that day...just got a little grumpy later on in the afternoon. But I was tired!

When Aunt Vicki speaks, I listen! :)

We had a nice group for brunch! Aunts, Uncles and grandparents all came to hang out and look at me. :)

This is Mommy's very first Mother's Day. Don't I look cute?

This is Daddy's favorite picture from the day. He said I look like Super Baby. Well, of course I do.

4 Month Check-up

Well, I'm actually only 3.5 months, but mommy and daddy are clearly trying to make me grow up faster than I should....let me illustrate.......

I had my 4 month check-up with Dr. Howie yesterday - Here are the vitals:
- 23 1/2 inches tall
- 12 lbs 2 oz
- 16" head circumference
more shots - but they aren't so bad

Daddy built me my Baby Einstein jumper this morning - it clearly says on the box it is for babies 4 months and older - - - and I'm on the smaller side - - - I could get one toe to sometimes hit the floor.....geez.....

Oh, and I slept through the entire night last night! Sure, I squaked a bit at times, but mommy and daddy didn't need to come in to see me until 7am!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOMMY!!! I love you.

(mommy should post more pics soon)

Laguna Beach Part Two

I am one patient little guy. Mommy & Daddy had to "bathe" me in this little sink. Boy, was it slippery and really round! My baths were quick and not very thorough - especially when Mommy had to do it by herself. But, that's OK, I still like the water. :)

Here we are as a family on the beach for the first time - out on an early morning stroll. Mommy kept cutting off my head in the pictures - but you get the idea!

Daddy loved carrying me around out there. It was just beautiful.

It's hard to tell, but this is the first time I'm touching the ocean. Daddy bent down with me in the Baby Bjorn and dunked my hands right in. Yay! We all can't wait till I'm old enough to play on the beach.

Laguna Beach Part One

First family vacation!! :) So, Daddy had a conference in Laguna Beach this week and he wanted Mommy and me to come hang out with him. It was so much fun! We stayed at the Surf & Sand Resort and had a suite RIGHT on the ocean!! I got to listen to the ocean all day long and as I went to sleep every night. Niiice.
So, it was also the first time I slept in my travel crib. As you can see, my folks like to swaddle me at night - they call me a "little burrito" and "beansprout." It's a good thing they feed me and change me because those names are some serious abuse. ;)
As you can see, I like to move in my bed - despite being swaddled, I still manage to scootch from one end to the other!! I am gonna be one mobile kid once I figure out how to push up on my arms.

Mommy and Daddy set up a lovely little changing station in the hotel room. I even had a view of the ocean from there.

Aaaahhhhh! It's so nice when they open my swaddle first thing in the morning! All I can do is stretch.

So, this was pretty cool - got to watch the Lakers playoff games when I was there. They won this one and are now in the next series. Go Lakers!
More to come...
