I'm Eating!

Mommy and Daddy are so proud. I just ate my first food, Gerber rice cereal (that kid on the box is super cute!) I ate ALL of the cereal, and only drooled 27% down my face. It was yummy, and all of that prep time holding spoons these past few weeks was definitely a good idea. More cereal for the next couple of days, then apparently I get to try oatmeal, and then something green and mushy called an av-o-ca-do. Mmmmmmm.........

5 Months In - - - formula and food????

Hello. This has been an interesting week. Daddy was gone most of the week - he was in "Vegas," supposedly doing work, and while he was gone, Aunt Brenda was in town and stayed with us. I think I have been growing, as I haven't been very happy. Mommy is calling me "Grumpus McGee."

Anyway, I wanted to share a few recent pictures with all of you. In no particular order:

1. My first sip from a sippee cup. Starting this weekend, the boob (which I am particularly fond of), has been trying to be replaced with bottles and cups filled with something called "formula." I'm not a fan, but this is apparently step #1 toward me eating some cereal in the next week or so.

2. Daddy reading me a book. Yes, he still does this every day. I try to "help" him turn the pages.

3. This is me and a babe I picked up named "Elena." Isn't she cute. We're just hangin.'

4. Yesterday was my first big party in my backyard. The menu even said "CAMERON'S - Serving up the good stuff since 2010!" How cool is that. This is me with mommy and daddy at our backyard tiki bar after the party was done. Lots of great friends, good food and yummy drink.


I plan to keep growing, working to stand up, and I promise Mommy that I'll be more smiley again very very soon.
