I'm a little firecracker today. You'd have to see my cute outfit to understand why. Mommy picked it out just for today. I look like I'm ready to go swimming in my red, white, and blue, in 1926!It's been an exciting month for me. I went to the zoo, and got to pet the animals for the first time. Here's one of daddy and me, petting a goat. Everything is so much easier and better, now that I am walking on my own. It is so much fun....almost as much fun as the gallon of milk I am consuming every 4 days!!! WOW, that is a lot of milk!!!
Speaking of walking, I try it out everywhere I go. Here is one of me and Grammy, over at her house. Walking is only second to crawling through my blue tunnel, which is my favourite daily activity. Daddy comes and says "boo" a lot, but for a while he can't seem to find me.
This one is me enjoying a concert out at the park. Now that it is summertime, we are doing a lot of things outside. We are going to junglegyms, playing with water tables and of course, taking swimming lessons. Swimming is so much fun.....sometimes......sometimes not. One of these days I will enjoy putting my head under the water.
As always, daddy is selling.....and he is using me. Doesn't this picture just make you want to go see Daddy's company's newest movie. Penguins are cute, like me.
Aah, and on this long holiday weekend, what better way to spend the time, than going to the beach in Malibu. We got to watch the surfers, and play in the sand. Daddy dug me a big hole to play in....it was so much fun.Other than that, let's see......
- I am getting my 5th tooth
- I'm still not eating enough!
- I keep "bonking" myself when I run around and fall down. My latest is a split lip.
- I'm starting to say words like "up" "down" "open" "book"...........(don't tell mommy and daddy, but I understand everything they are saying to me....I'm just not repeating it back. By the way, daddy, "Go the f*** to sleep" is NOT appropriate bedtime reading!"
- I love books - dozens a day.
And, I've now applied to three nursery school's. I want my pick, so we'll see what happens!!!
I'm just waiting for my first "first cousin" Aunt Helen is due to POP this week, and I can't wait. It is very exciting, and I know I will love my new cousin. Speaking of baby bumps, mommy's is getting bigger. Less than 3 months until I am a big brother. Daddy has been busy prepping my new bedroom, and I keep trying to get in there each and every day. Soon, he keeps promising me.
