Daddy and his tomatoes

I finally got to "PLAY DIRT," which had been a big tease for a few days.....for those of you that know my daddy, you'll know he loves his tomatoes.  He'll spend $35 on new dirt and $24 on the plants, just to end up with 6 varieties of yummy tomatoes (which would probably cost him $10 in the store).

Anyway.....I got to play in the dirt with daddy, so who cares.......

Here we are prepping the soil, and daddy telling me what we are going to be doing.

I was given this cool rake thing - - - and told to smooth out the lumps.  Um, OK, sorta.....

I think I am starting to get the hang of it.  Daddy is squatting (we didn't put on "work in the dirt clothes" - silly daddy), so....so am I!

These pesky strings are fun to play with

Job well done with the raking.....all nice and smooth.  Now can we do a little bit of shoveling please?

Aah, that's more like it....now, just to put in the cages (check), get a little bit of rain (check), and next weekend we can go to TOMATOMANIA, to buy our plants!  That will be fun!

Here's one more from Uncle Andy's visit.  This is a great picture, don't you think?  We are reading one of my new favourite books, TOOT TOOT, BEEP BEEP

Another fine family photo.  I'm looking good!

And, finally, here's a good with with mommy, dad'n (whom I call JOE every now and then), and ba ba (Spencer).  Have a good week everyone!

Wintertime Happiness

Hello Everybody!

Well, I'm now 26 months old (which I hear still classifies me as "2")

I can count to 2.....actually, I can count to 10......but I don't like to.  I usually go 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10!  My 10 comes off with quite a flourish.  It's just quicker.

I can do the Alphabet, but I don't like to do that either.

There is a MAD ROBOT in the house.  Mommy and Daddy aren't quite sure about it, but trust me, he's there.  I tell everyone daily!

I'm still waiting to hear on nursery school's.  I think Daddy is a bit freaked out.  Soon, daddy....just have some patience.

I'm eating better these days.  I don't think my weight is an issue any more.

Today, it is raining.....it doesn't do that much here.  Daddy promised we could put on my fireman coat and go out and stomp in the puddles.

Here I am with some of my friend's at Dylan's birthday party.  It's kinda cool, I'm starting to really get the idea of having friends, sharing toys (sometimes), and at this party, I loved the LAWNMOWER and JUICE BOX!!!

GG came back into town in February, while Daddy had to go to Europe.  We got to play together for a full 10 days.  She is so much fun.

Yeeeees, can I help you with something?  I'm busy.  Eating.

I have lots of looks....still, and always.  One favourite is me tilting my head with a flirty smile.

My brother comes in and visits me in the "crib" some mornings.  We like to hang out.....

.....and chat.  We talk about monkey's, and mommy and daddy, and cars, and trucks, and airplanes and trains.  OK, I talk.  Spencer just looks at me.  He sometimes smiles.

Did I mention, I still LOVE trucks, and airplanes and trains.

Here's another one from Dylan's birthday party.  It was sports themed.  I was a surfer.

Oh, happy days with the family.  But, I probably wanted up in mommy's lap too.  I love mommy very much, as evidenced by the fact I say her name at least 372 times daily.

Food is a big part of my life.  I'm glad to be feeding myself these days.  Mmmmm, cheerios.  They look like wheels on the cars in my cheerios book.

 Hello there you lovely people.

 Too Too....Too Too....Too Too.....I'm walking Too Too.

Hello there Grammy.  We both look adorable in this picture, but I think my editor might have chosen the wrong one, as Spencer is looking pretty lousy.  Nice to see you and thank you for the Valentine's lollypop!  (The only other time I get lollypop's is during my haircuts, of which I have now had two - the second no better than the first!)

Aah, Spencer.  I love you Spencer.  Let me show you how this works.  Even though you are much better and more patient in it than I ever was.

Coming soon......
- Trip to Philly
- Springtime in LA
- Solar Panels on the house
- Nursery School acceptance letters (we hope)
- More fun times with friends

Love and Smooches!
